  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2018 - June 30, 2018 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

      For ages 13-16.

      From the New Mexico mountains and mesas through the West Texas plains of the Llano Estacado, this camp embodies the spirit of the Southwest. Campers will create art which draws on the origins, traditions and art of the Caddo Indians and the storytelling of the cowboys.

  1. Teen Field Trip: Texas Rangers vs. San Diego Padres

    June 26, 2018, All Day @ Lively Pointe Youth Center

    The field trip series is open to youth, ages 12-17, and transportation is provided.

    Payment for field trips must be made at the time of registration; space is limited. Participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for field trip. Staff does not condone disrespectful or illegal behavior. Parents will be notified of children who have behavior problems during field trips. In serious cases, parents may be required to pick up child from field trip location, and/or child may be denied from attending future field trips.

    Field trips are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Interested participants may sign up online or in person at Lively Pointe Youth Center, 909 N. O’Connor Road. For more information, call (972) 721-8090.
