  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2018 - June 30, 2018 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

  1. SRC @ South: Friday Night Library presents the Summer Reading Kick-Off with Musical Adventures

    June 1, 2018, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ South Irving Library

    Stop --- It's Library Time! From Bach to rock, the South Irving Library Summer Reading Challenge kick-off will be music to the ears of all ages.

    Boogie down an interactive StoryWalk, catch a high-energy show with David Chicken and his superhero Chihuahua, Super Chachie, and see Opera on Tap perform. Then move and groove through the library for live music, dance floor fever, and a zone to create your own musical instrument.

    This Summer Reading Challenge program is sponsored by the Friends of the Irving Public Library and is part of the Friday Night Library series.
