  1. True Love Awaits Pet Adoptions

    Looking for love? There’s nothing like the unconditional affection of a pet, and on Feb. 10, adoptable animals at the Irving Animal Care Campus (IACC) will be available for only $14.

    Animals being adopted will be:

    • Up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies if the animal is more than four months of age
    • Spayed or neutered
    • Given a general dewormer and treated for fleas and ticks
    • Microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch
    • Heartworm tested (dogs over 6 months of age)
    • FeLV / FIV tested (cats over 6 months of age)
    • Given 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance (with a valid email address)
    • Given a sample bag of Science Diet food

    Folk music duo Hungrytown, featuring Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, will perform for Irving Chautauqua. After three album releases and more than a decade of world-wide touring, the duo has earned a reputation for the quality and authenticity of their writing. Hungrytown has appeared on such television shows as Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, IFC’s Portlandia, and Netflix’s Lady Dynamite. The free program is open to the public.
