Some of the other elements of this course include hands-on bin building, a tour of Irving’s Hunter Ferrell Landfill and studying the biology of composting under the microscope at North Lake College. All graduates of the course will receive training books, a backyard composting bin, worm bin, T-shirts and a certificate.
