Library Adult Classes

  1. Basic Computer and Internet

    February 13, 2017, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ South Irving Library Computer Lab

    Basic Computer and Internet classes are for beginners with no computer skills. If you have no experience with computers, please take this class before you attend any of the other classes. For all other classes, basic computer skills are required. Classes are limited and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class time. No registration is required. Classes are in the computer lab unless otherwise noted.

  1. Adult Game Time

    It’s game time for adults! Join us on Mondays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to play chess, checkers, cards and more. The game place will be on the second floor, in the southwest corner. Ask at the InfoZone desk for more information. Games may also be borrowed from the InfoZone desk for in-house use during all open library hours.

    Give yourself an early valentine treat when bestselling Historical Romance author Eloisa James visits Irving! We start the evening with a presentation of the documentary, Love Between the Covers, which goes behind the scenes of the romance genre industry. Then Ms. James will be on hand for a brief presentation, a Q & A, and book signing. A selection of her novels will be available on site for purchase.
