Animal Services

  1. Affordable Spay/Neuter for Pets - Appointments Required

    February 1, 2017, 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM @ Spay/Neuter Clinic

    Schedule your appointment to have your pet spayed or neutered at an affordable cost.

    Pets are dropped off at 8 a.m. at the Irving Animal Care Campus and picked up same day around 4 p.m.

    Services provided by Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP).

  2. Affordable Vaccinations for Pets - No Appointment Needed

    February 1, 2017, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    Available services include vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention and flea/tick control. A full set of annual vaccinations for a cat or dog is just $25!

  2. Friends of the Irving Public Library Members-Only Book Sale

    The Friends warehouse is filled with thousands of gently-used donations and seldom-used items from the library's collection. The "members-only" sales are held on the first Wednesdays of the months February through May, and August through December. Membership to the Friends can be purchased at the warehouse during these sales.

    All teens in grades 9 through 12 are welcome to join. If you like to read the newest books, socialize with your friends, and attend parties, or if you want to be in a group where your opinion counts, join the Young Adult Action Council (YAAC). Earn volunteer hours for school by planning upcoming teen programs and coming up with ideas on how to make the library more teen-friendly.
