Assessment of Fair Housing
The City of Irving, along with seven north Texas cities and 15 north Texas housing authorities, is collaborating on a Regional Assessment of Fair Housing. The collaboration enables participants to address fair housing issues that cross jurisdictional lines. The focus is on a local approach that will work best for communities within our region.
Consultants from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) have been conducting public meeting and focus groups, on the behalf of City of Irving, to gain feedback from residents on fair housing issues. UTA has developed a website to provide information on the regional process that can be viewed below.
Residents are encouraged to attend the next public meeting on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the South Irving Library, 601 Schulze Dr. at 6 pm.
Residents can also provide feedback by completing a short online survey below.
