2018 Infected Mosquito Treatment Zones / Schedule

Mosquito spraying occurs when mosquitoes trapped test positive for West Nile Virus or there is a higher number of uninfected mosquitoes than normal.

  • Aug. 21-23: N13 - Irving Soccer Complex. The Dallas County Health and Human Services detected a positive West Nile Virus sample from this area. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
  • Aug. 21-23: N06 - Thomas Jefferson Park. The Dallas County Health and Human Services detected a positive West Nile Virus sample from this area. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
  • Aug. 15-16: 75063 Zip code. The City of Irving detected a high number of uninfected mosquitoes from this area. The city will conduct truck-mounted ultralow volume (ULV) fogging from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly in this affected area, weather permitting. ULV fogging is not dangerous to pets or people.
  • July 17-19: S09 - Sunrise Park. The Dallas County Health and Human Services detected a positive West Nile Virus sample from this area. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
  • July 16-18: 75061 ZIP code. The Dallas County Health and Human Services has reported a human case of the West Nile Virus from the 75061 ZIP code. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
  • July 10-13: 75061 ZIP code. The Dallas County Health and Human Services has reported a human case of the West Nile Virus from the 75061 ZIP code. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
  • July 10-13: S08 - Jaycee Park. The Dallas County Health and Human Services detected a positive West Nile Virus sample from the S08 sample trap. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
  • June 19-21: S14 - Las Colinas Lake (DCURD). The Dallas County Health and Human Services detected a positive West Nile Virus sample from this area. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
  • May 30-June 2: S03 - Lee Recreation Center. The Dallas County Health and Human Services detected a positive West Nile Virus sample from this area. The city will conduct a spraying series from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
