This annual street festival in the heart of the Irving Heritage District celebrates the hometown feel of Irving with attractions for all ages. Each year thousands of people attend this family affair, which offers live music, the Manifolds on Main Street Car Show, free rides and activities for children, food and shopping.
Admission is free on both days! Friday evening features live music and free children's activities. On Saturday the festival expands to include a car show, additional children's entertainment and a Craft Marketplace with vendors selling crafts, jewelry, décor, apparel and more. All food and craft vendor spaces are full.

Several sections of road will be closed for the festivities:
- Main Street between Second Street and Third Street will be closed from 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, to 12 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.
- Main Street between Irving Blvd. and Second Street will be closed from 12 a.m. Saturday, Sep. 16 to 12 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.
- Second Street between Hastings Street and Delaware Street will be closed from 12 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 to 12 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.

Friday, September 15
The free fun begins on Friday evening! Bring the kids to enjoy face painting, balloons, inflatable rides, and a cheer competition on the Children's Stage! Squads from the Irving Girls Cheerleader Association will be judged on jumps, cheers and dance.
Saturday, September 16
The Family Fun Zone offers even more free activities on Saturday. In addition to the attractions from Friday, there will be pony rides, a petting zoo, a Build and Grow station with Lowe's Home Improvement, and puppet shows provided by the Irving Public Libraries throughout the day. Car Show Registration
Produced by MSP Car Shows, this full class show features 30 different trophy classes and 6 Best of Shows.
Participant registration is $20 on-site, or $15 with online pre-registration. Free commemorative dash plaques for the first fifty (50) participants that register.

Saturday brings a variety of fun activities to Main Street! All of the attractions below will run from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 16.
Over 50 booths of crafters line Main Street, featuring artists, jewelers, woodworking and more. The marketplace is a great opportunity to begin holiday shopping and find unique gift items. Several City of Irving departments will also be on-site to share information about resident services and free giveaways (while supplies last).
Juried Art Exhibit
Step into the Glory House Bistro, located at 109 Main Street, for the second annual Main Street Art Show. The display includes mixed media, sculptures, photography and paintings. While viewing the works, enjoy the sounds of skilled musicians throughout the day.

Hot Sauce Fest
New to the Irving Main Street Event, Hot Sauce Fest is presented by the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Located at the north end of Main Street, participants will compete for the Best Hot Sauce, Best Mild Sauce and Best Non-Traditional Sauce. Both individuals and area restaurants are invited to participate. Registration information is available online.

No festival is complete without great food! Vendors will be located near the Main Stage and the Children's Stage with a variety of tasty eats and cold treats.
